Cold cucumber soup / Oyi neang guk(오이냉국)


‧Cucumber 1/2
‧Soaked seaweed 1/2 cup
‧Green and red chilli 1/2 
Cool mineral water
Pinch of sesame seed
Ice cubes


Pinch of salt
‧Vinegar 3TS
‧Soy sauce 2ts
‧Sugar 1TS
‧Minced garlic 1/2ts



1. Soak 1/2 cup of dried seaweed in a big bowl for 20~30 minutes and cut into 2~3 inch.


2. Mix the seaweed with marinade.
   (salt, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic)

3. Slice cucumber into very thin julienne and slice chilli and onion.

※Soak the onion for 5min to remove hot flavor.
4. mix all ingredients into a big bowl and add some ice cubes.
